the term webcore refers to the aesthetics of the early internet circa web 1.0, before modern social media was well-established and the internet was primarily a playground for hobbyists.
this is just a little shrine to the web of the late 90’s & early 00’s that I grew up with, and a place to put all my graphics I’ve amassed over the years, and even some I’ve made myself! it’s a love letter to the websites of yore, and specifically the pixel aesthetics & page deco of that era - blinkies, buttons, badges, and the like.
on these pages, there are a lot of animated images. for accessibility reasons, if your browser or device has reduced motion settings toggled on, the animated images are replaced with static ones.
